Investor Relations

Stocks or bonds?

People have always been fascinated by money and even fascinated by borrowed money. Because making your own expenses with other people’s money is a sweet pleasure.

We were able to gain early experience in investor relations with companies that are or were listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Germany), e.g. Pfleiderer AG, H5B5 Media AG, Constantin Film AG or the first general shareholder meeting of Deutsche Post AG (2001) with several thousand shareholders. We prepare the board of directors and management board for successful mandatory events such as e.g. general and extraordinary shareholder meetings, press and analyst conferences.

Investor relations is a function found almost exclusively in publicly traded companies. It provides information about a company’s financial and operating performance to members of the investment community. It also maintains relationships with those investors who may be interested in making additional investments in the company in the future. The main objectives are:
- to maintain an active market in the company’s shares,
- to obtain a fair valuation,
- enhance the company’s ability to profitably raise capital as needed.

Bonds are another financing instrument for a company. Fixed income investors have other interests and therefore need differentiated information. They ask themselves: Will I get my money back and will I be paid the interest? For example, they need a detailed breakdown of the company’s structure and its main sources of income in terms of operations.
